Background

2017 saw the launch of the Bancor Protocol and the subsequent creation of the ERC-721 token – standardizing the exchange of cryptocurrency into alternative tokens and providing the market with an automated system for buying and selling smart tokens. Of course, this wasn’t the first time that continuous token models had been explored – with various theoretical systems around for years before 2017.

However, it is this release which played a fundamental part in the launch of StarsX, and so is an integral part of our own background.
